Some users may experience that phone numbers become hyperlinks within email campaigns.  When the email is tested or broadcasted, phone number are hyperlinked or improperly displayed.  If the recipient of the email clicks the hyperlink, Skype launches or an error is display.  This is caused when the designer of the email has the Skype web browser plugin installed and enabled.  Skype automatically replaces the phone number within the HTML with a hyperlink to launch Skype and place a call.  It is recommend that you disable the Skype web browser plugin when designing and sending EBS email campaigns.

In many web browsers the Skype plugin can be found within the Preference/Option feature of the application under plugins.
